VISALE - rental guarantee for students

Majority of landlords require tenants to have a French guarantor as part of their housing dossier, but what if you do not know anyone in France? 

The VISALE serves as a solution (like a security deposit) for students seeking to rent a room or apartment, furnished or unfurnished, from a private or public property owner. Owners have the option of accepting or rejecting prospective tenants who wish to use VISALE to guarantee their payment of rent and other charges.

VISALE is open to international students who are: 

• between the ages of 18-30 

• enrolled in a French higher education institution for at least one academic year

• have a visa marked VLS-TS étudiant §Visa Long Séjour valant Titre de Séjour, mention « étudiant »)
