Who?
- All students in accepted into French higher education institutions (undergrad, Master’s, PhD)
- Exemptions:

French government scholars (BGF - boursiers du gouvernement français)

Participants of student exchange programs (between French and Filipino HEI partners)
Exchange students are not officially considered to be enrolled in France and are therefore not subject to this fee

- Important note for exempted students:
- Even if exempted, you will still need to complete the online procedure for you to be able to get a certificate of payment exemption (attestation d’exonération), which you will present to your French HEI during final registration or enrolment
When?
- Before final enrollment/registration at your French school or university
- This can be done even if you are not yet in France (online payment)
- As long as you have already received your student visa
How much?
- 92€ for each academic year (current amount for AY 2020-21)
- This amount may change slightly from year to year
How to pay?
There are two options available:
- Online payment (Visa and Mastercard 3DS) through the CVEC website
- In cash at La Poste (post office)
